Lazy Sunday

Neighbor S’s brother was in town for the weekend. So today, we went to the Cantor Center at Stanford. In addition to their normal collection, they have an exhibit by Richard Avedon that is absolutely incredible. His portraiture of the midwest is exquisite. His style is a person in front of a white background, removing them from their surroundings so that you see them. I highly recommend doing an image search for him on Google.

We continued the afternoon by stopping by the church where Neighbor S’s parents were married. Here are a few of the photos that I took (and one that I didn’t.) After seeing the work in the museum, I definitely need some help.

S took a picture of my in Myrtle. She looked so cute parked on the side of the street.
