Seriously, is this how guys learned resister codes?

    Yes, that’s the mnemonic that’s been around since the color codes were standardized in the 1930s or so. I first learned it around 1970.

    That is not how I was taught. Although, I don’t remember the whole thing, it was something like “Bad Boys Only …”
    But I do not remember any racist or rape parts.

  3. For once, I can completely claim that I have absolutely no clue what everyone is talking about. Usually I hate being ignorant (or confused) about things, but I honestly don’t get it. Then again I’ve never programmed a single line of code in my life, so my opinion wouldn’t count for much anyways…
