Seriously, is this how guys learned resister codes?
I refuse to repost the racist rape mneumonic here, but you can read it for yourself in the comments in this reddit post.

Yes, that’s the mnemonic that’s been around since the color codes were standardized in the 1930s or so. I first learned it around 1970.

That is not how I was taught. Although, I don’t remember the whole thing, it was something like “Bad Boys Only …”
But I do not remember any racist or rape parts.

For once, I can completely claim that I have absolutely no clue what everyone is talking about. Usually I hate being ignorant (or confused) about things, but I honestly don’t get it. Then again I’ve never programmed a single line of code in my life, so my opinion wouldn’t count for much anyways…
