Poll results
I was a bit negligent on reporting on the results of the photo shoot polls. So here they are, the final results.
Your favorite in the first poll was C.
And the winner of favorite comment goes to John McLellan with
C has a sort of “you have no idea what I could do to you” sexiness about it, but also a flair of innocence. I’m not just talking sex here. I’m talking, she look likes like she could rock your world in the bedroom, or hack you up with an axe. THAT kind of sexiness. C wins by a long shot.
Although a close second was Anonymous with
C. Stands for cleavage.
The winner of the dust jacket photo wasn’t as clear cut as the other contest, but Photo A wins by a narrow margin.
My favorite comment here was by @sanguish who wrote the following, before he knew the book was about a woman and her ghost.
The first one is so different than most book jacket shots that I think it’s the best. Haunting eyes.
Although, book topic may be an issue.

Little white lies
Sometimes we need a little white lie to make it through the day. Whether it is being told that everything's going to be alright, telling yourself that you've moved on, or a hollow I love you, we need something to get us through. Sometimes we just have to say it over and over until we can believe it.
Or until proven wrong.
Which is better? To say the lie, or not, when someone really needs to hear it? And is it really a lie if you tell it because you *want* to believe it?

You’re just going to get hurt
That is what he said. And I knew it was true. But I did it anyways. It
was emotional cutting. I'd felt nothing for so long that feeling
something, even pain, was better than the emptiness I feel.

Love Hurts
Thanks to the weekend of chick flicks, I’m now wondering what hurts worse; unrequited love or forbidden love? Both are the source of many a novel, musical, movie, and song. Pretty much every Bollywood movie I’ve ever watched is based on one of these two, although most often it is forbidden love.

I noticed we can now add polls, so I thought I would try one. I was recently accused of being a shameless flirt. Is it true? A while ago someone explained that guys may not flirt back because they find me intimidating. Am I? What do you think?
