Bud light with lime

Guy and his wife come into the bar. They order a Lime Bud Light and a Corona. The bartender asked them if they'd like to try a local brew that is similar. The couple says no and I start giggling. The bartender looked at me and I said that I appreciate him trying. The man explained that he just tried the new Bud Light this weekend and likes it. I tried to cover my ass by saying the bartender has been trying to get everyone to try something new.

Silly people. Try something new! There are amazing local brews out there!

Going home

I could have caught an earlier flight to Denver, but I found a lounge with pizza, Bozone Hefeweizen, electical outlets and a view. How could I leave?

When I checked my bag, the woman was so pleasant and with her heavy accent said, "You are just the perfect passenger, aren't you?"

The Wedding

Was fabulous.

And I’m not just saying that because I know they are reading this. ;-)

First, we took a bus ride over the mountains and through the plain, down a very long dirt road, to the mother of the bride’s house in Wilsail. Riding home at 1am is a bit freaky with all the critters running around.

The wedding was outside with hay bales and parasols. You will see from the photos. I took a lot of photos. They will come later when I have time to go through all 360 of them. Lucky for you, I have time to hang out in the airport today.

The things you can’t see are numerous. The choreographed first dance, the incredible food including elk shot by the MOTB. The amazing set of friends and family that S&B have. The dancing that lasted into the night and the awesome band that played. The fireworks display. And let’s not forget the beautiful sunset followed by the vibrant Milky Way.

The best part of the weekend has been the people I have met. Grade school friends, college friends, work friends, friend friends, and family. S&B are amazing people, and their friends reflect that.

iPhone to the rescue

The bus driver got a little lost trying to pick up a guest. The upside is that we saw cattle and ducks and horses.

The iPhone came to the rescue as a well-dress guy (stop thinking what you’re thinking, he seems to be with someone) whipped his out and used the GPS to discover there are two Cottonwoods—one road, one street. So he called the bridal party and found we were on the wrong one.

With the error corrected, we are on our way, albeit a little late.

Catch up

I’m a little behind, so here are some photos from yesterday morning when we found the coffee shop and went to Big Sky. There are more at the end of My Pre-Wedding Gallery. But here are some teasers.
