So, I tried to make fennel tonight. I put it on top of a pluot and topped it with walnuts. Turns out, the fennel was better by itself. The heirloom tomato with mozzarella, basil and olive oil made up for the rest of the disaster.

  1. So funny, we had a caprese salad tonight. The last tomatoes from Kathy’s garden and pesto instead of fresh basil (the freeze last week got it all)

  2. Funny, that so much of our existence is based on how delicious food is. Like that pic of those tomatoes. Now THAT is fine dining my friends. Looks SOOOOO good (and it’s 8:46am as I type this comment….is it dinner yet?). Cheers!
