Cranberry sauce

Roasted with oil, thyme (I hope. I’m not really sure what it was), a quarter less sugar than recommended. Then added a fresh squeezed orange and the orange zest; roasted some more.

Voila! Cranberry sauce!

  1. Now, the question is, was the sauce any good? It looks mouth watering, but THYME with cranberries? Sounds, um, adventurous. You’ve got good taste in food, so I want YOUR opinion. Worth doing again, or passing the recipe along to friends?

  2. It turned out fantastic. I’ll send you the recipe.

  3. Roasted Cranberry Sauce and another of my favorites that I just made yesterday morning, Strawberry Orange Rhubarb Muffins.

I recommend only using 3/4 cup of sugar in the cranberry sauce. It was more than enough and my friend’s baby still made it her favorite food at dinner.
