Pies

I’m making a cherry pie and a strawberry-rhubarb pie. I didn’t find pre-made crust I could fit in my backpack when I rode my bike to the grocery store, so wish me luck with the five-pound bag of flour I bought instead.

The guacamole is just because I’m hungry now and I had an avocado. I’m getting better at making guacamole.

I love strawberry-rhubarb pie – it was my Dad’s favorite. I would just rather eat the cherries than make them into a pie. I’m sure your kitchen smells wonderful. Enjoy your baking. The garden looks great!

  2. I’m telling you, you gotta try making a home built (aka-home made) graham cracker crust from scratch by crushing the crackers, adding the stuff, etc. They make EVERY PIE SO MUCH BETTER. It’ll change your life. For the better.
